The Wickets is located a mile north of Desborough centre, and five miles southeast of the stunning Market Harborough, benefitting from the conveniences the towns offer, as well as the surrounding countryside. The development can be reached within a three-minute drive of the A6, reaching Leicester in an additional 28 minutes.

Desborough benefits from some of Northamptonshire’s finest nature, with a wealth of green open space. The town, and development, sit centrally between Market Harborough, Corby, and Kettering, presenting short journeys to the region’s best shopping, dining, leisure, and schools.

This development is under the administration of North Northamptonshire Council.

Residents of The Wickets are well-served for everyday essentials, with two popular supermarkets 10 minutes’ walk into Desborough. Station Road in the town centre is a mile away and supplies a variety of stores, cafés, pubs, and restaurants for local shopping.

Market Harborough is a 12-minute drive away and provides a larger variety of shops and restaurants, with The Square and surrounding streets offering great retail choice. Corby is eight miles away and has more comprehensive shopping options, with multiple retail parks packed with high-street favourites.

Residents of The Wickets have a number of public transport options linking the development, and Desborough, to its surrounding towns and cities for viable commutes.

Bear Way bus stop is an eight-minute walk from the development and provides regular routes through to Kettering. Desborough Adj Station Road bus and coach station is a mile away, providing routes to Market Harborough, Kettering, and Corby, with average journey times of 16, 20, and 31 minutes, respectively.

Desborough’s surrounding towns all offer frequent East Midlands Railway services, with Market Harborough Station being closest only 10 minutes’ drive away.

The Wickets is well-connected by roads: the A6 is a three-minute drive away, leading to Market Harborough in an additional four minutes, and Leicester in 25 minutes; the A14 is three miles south, reaching Birmingham in an additional 50 minutes.

Birmingham Airport is a 53-minute drive away from the development, providing worldwide travel.
